KC Loh

K. C. Loh is a Client Relations Partner at Aligned Growth Partners, where she is involved in executive and professional search. Based in Malaysia, she is also responsible for client development initiatives for the firm in the Asia Pacific region.

She has decades of experience as a senior Human Resources positions in Malaysia and China, with expertise in training and developing staff, as well as in recruitment.

Prior to joining Aligned Growth Partners, K. C. was Director of Human Resources for Cargotec Singapore and executed HR strategy for 1100 employees in China. A Finnish heavy vehicle manufacturer with Euro 3.1 billion in revenue, K. C. was responsible for building a common company culture in the restructuring and alignment of the company’s seven entities in China in areas such as the performance development system, compensation and benefits programs, as well as training and development after Cargotec merged three companies. She also reduced employee turnover rate from 23% in 2010 to 14.7%, thus improving the stability of the company’s workforce.

From 2005-2009, KC was Director of Human Resources for Kaz Ltd. Far East and was responsible for 1300 employees in Shenzhen, China where she was key to Kaz compliance with the Suppliers Responsibility code for major clients like Wal-Mart and formed close relationships with the Chinese government authorities like the Labour Department, the Social Security Bureau, and the Safety and Health department. As well, she helped the company to reorganise their operation model from manufacturing their own products to outsourcing their manufacturing.

K. C. also worked for Taiwanese company, Lite-On Electronics, first in Penang, Malaysia before transferring operations to Dongguan, China. While with Lite-On Electronics, she successfully grew the factory from 2300 to 6300 employees.

K. C. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the National University of Malaysia and an MBA from the University Science of Malaysia. She has completed management training programmes conducted by Japanese Industrial Training associations and the China Productivity Centre in Taiwan.
