With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience at several Multinational Companies in global & regional roles, as well as the Principal Lean Six Sigma Consultant, Mr. CK Wong has initiated and been directly involved in the successful implementation of a Lean Culture by instituting operating systems and lean thinking management practices.  CK currently is the Principal Consultant, President of his own Company to help companies improve their Business Financials, Process, Operations, Culture, Customer, Employee Development. The industries he has consulted and changed forever are Telecom, Manufacturing, Medical, Agriculture, Insurance, Hospitality, Research &Development, Construction and Oil & Gas. CK has an MBA and holds certifications in several areas of expertise including as a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. As a lean practitioner and expert in system thinking, CK has designed, coordinated and facilitated both in-class and on-site seminars and workshops for all organizational leadership levels related to Lean Six Sigma principles & methodologies. Select Accomplishments

  • Lean Six Sigma Transformation Program start-up for a focused Lean Transformation program in 8 sites from 5 countries of a multinational Supply Chain company. Engaged senior management on strategy and align lean program by identifying key processes and teams to engage. Coached teams on lean principals, tools, waste reduction and work cells focussing on Improving visibility, reducing variability and Increase velocity. Introduced Lean Governance for senior management and the concept of PDCA to ensure sustainment. Over a 6-month period, Lead Time and Quality improved by 30%, Productivity increased 50%. Safety incidences was zero and Cost savings annualized at USD $3M.
  • Yield, Lead Time, Quality Improvements through structured Problem Solving in a large Agricultural company. Travel though the country to visit sites to understand operations. Through extensive coaching of teams on how to use the 8 Steps of Practical Problem Solving, developed 100 teams infused with “Lean Thinking” in R&D, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Shipping, Tooling and Production. Total Cost savings USD 5M.
  • Process Efficiencies for MNC in Injection Molding and Electronic assembly yielding cost savings of US $20M. To achieve those goals, trained and coached 200 LSS teams per year focussing on Lean Six Sigma Methods and Principles. Team are made up of Manufacturing and Transaction services focussing on Quality, Yields, Cost, Productivity and Lead time.
  • Lead Consultant on a Strategic engagement with a large Oil & Gas company developing strategies and critical KPI’s that were cascaded via the Balanced Scorecard.  Working closely with their executive leadership, assessed the business challenges using both the SWOT & PEST analysis to identify key strategies, KPI’s and critical business areas in need of improvement.  Key implementation efforts included strong Visual Management & Control, Standard Work Practices, 6S & Problem Solving, Layout Changes that support Quality at the Source.
